3 Westminster Road was a Victorian semi-detached house (circa 200m2) located within the heart of Hanwell West in London. The site and house were reasonably large but under-utilised. Most of the neighbouring properties have been previously converted or purpose built. The location and site can accommodate higher density and is better suited to a number of good quality self-contained flats.
Planning permission was subsequently granted to extend the property and convert it into four self-contained flats over four floors with a total floor area of 300m2. There are future plans to extend the permission by a further two flats to a total of six units.
